Make Way for the Princesses!

Throwing a party for the little princess in your life?  Every fairytale has a little magic to it and you can add a bit of that to your child’s birthday party with the help of a:

Magic Wand!

mod kid's birthday candy tubes

These fun favors are quick and easy.  Here’s what you need:

  • Candy Tubes (EB2300) Example shows: EB2300MDK in Strawberry Pink, Flower Lattice Pattern, and Princess Design
  • Strips of colored fabric approximately 10″ in length
  • Variety of pink ribbon cut into strips that are the same length as the fabric
  • Hot glue gun
  • *Optional: glitter

After acquiring all of my supplies, I gathered pieces of fabric and ribbon together into a little bunch.  You can make these as thick or as thin as you’d like (I like the look of a thicker bunch myself).  Then, I took one more piece of ribbon and tied the bunch together.  You want to tie them as close to the bottom as possible.  Using the hot glue gun, I glued the bottom of the bundle to one of the caps.  Simple as that — just add glitter!

These favors also make a fun activity.  You can lay out all the supplies (minus the hot glue gun — that job is probably best left to adults) and let the little princesses create their own wands!

If you haven’t noticed, I’m having a blast with our new favors.  Just take a look at last week’s twitter spree with the milk bottles.  I know, the product launch was last week, but that doesn’t mean we’re done celebrating!  I’ve got more candy tube ideas coming your way this week.

What will I do with these next???

Stay Tuned!
